Williamson & Co was founded in 2010, but its story began much earlier. Helen Williamson entered estate agency in 1989 and spent more than three decades building a reputation for honesty, integrity and putting clients first. Throughout her career, clients and colleagues encouraged her to open her own business because they valued the way she handled property transactions with openness and genuine care.

As the industry increasingly became driven by targets, referrals and sales figures, Helen felt there had to be another way. She wanted to build an agency where people came before transactions, where honest advice mattered more than winning instructions and where clients could feel genuinely looked after from beginning to end.

The business originally opened as a partnership before Helen continued the journey independently, protecting the values, the team and the independent agency she had worked so hard to create. Today, Williamson & Co remains proudly family-run, serving Cardiff with the same principles that inspired its creation.
